TWO teenagers have appeared in court charged with the kidnapping and rape of a 12–year–old boy.
Zak Hodgson, aged 19, from Winmarleigh Street, and a 17–year–old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, came before Warrington Crown Court today.
The pair are each charged with two counts of rape, carrying away a child by force or fraud against his will and kidnapping with the intention of committing a sexual offence.
They are alleged to have committed the series of attacks at Alexandra Park and a derelict manor on Ackers Road in Stockton Heath on the night of Tuesday, July 8.
David Jones, prosecuting, said it will take around six weeks for evidence to be gathered before their next appearance.
He said: "This is a case which will involve forensic and medical evidence."
The two youths have been remanded in custody.
They will next appear at Warrington Crown Court on Monday, September 15 for a plea and case management hearing.
