A HOSTAGE incident at Risley Prison has ended without serious injury.
A spokesman for the prison service confirmed the incident involved two prisoners and staff resolved it by 11.29am,
It is understood one prisoner took another hostage.
Neither have been seriously injured although one is now in police custody and the other is being treated in hospital.
Detectives are on the scene.
There are no more details at present.
