WARRINGTON Town will complete their UniBond First Division South season at Stocksbridge Park Steels on Saturday.
Stocksbridge, already guaranteed a place in the play-offs, face a Town side that has finished 13th in the table following Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat to Cammell Laird.
Town manager Paul Moore, who is considering bringing Scott Williams, Chris Fitzpatrick and fit-again Kevin Towey into the starting line-up for the trip to Look Local Stadium, wants his men to deliver a performance that will bring home the three points and leave Stocksbridge questioning their own abilities for the play-offs and next season's campaign.
Moore felt his side deserved reward for their second-half performance against promoted Cammell Laird on Tuesday after falling behind during a below-par first-half showing.
"We were camped in their half and they resorted to long balls on the break.
"Tom Spearitt had one effort well saved, another effort was cleared off the line and we had a number of corners but couldn't get the goal we needed."
Anthony Davies, signed from Witton Albion at the end of March, made his second appearance on the bench.
He can play anywhere on the left and, although considered to still be learning at this level, is currently being given game time with next season in mind.
Town: Diego Bassanini, Anthony Daniels, Steve Everett, Thomas Spearitt, Andy Thomas, Nicky Prescott, Karl Brown, Francis Smith, Carl Rendell, Thomas Lamb, Michael Owens. Subs: Anthony Davies, Scott Williams. Not used: Chris Fitzsimmons.
