WARRINGTON Kickboxing Studio's Graham Sayer became a world champion in two weight divisions during 2007.
Sayer, who already held the Amateur Kickboxing Association middleweight title, won the International Kickboxing Federation amateur super middleweight world belt in September.
That was achieved with victory over Indian champion Rajeet Singh at the Parr Hall in Warrington.
The 28-year-old had trained hard for a fourth defence of his AKA world title in July but his opponent - the second one that had been lined up for that date - had to withdraw.
But Graham did make a third successful defence of his title earlier in the year, breaking new ground in the process.
Graham set a United Kingdom record for the most defences of a Thai boxing title when he defeated Turkey's Guven Zencir in Altrincham in February.
The Warrington Sports Personality of 2005 winner stopped Zencir six months earlier but the Turk had since been crowned European champion, forcing the tricky re-match with Sayer.
