A DOSE of glamour comes to the Warrington Guardian this week with the five finalists in the running for Miss Warrington Guardian 2007.
Emma Lawless, aged 18, from Culcheth, Katie Whaley, aged 20, from Orford, Emily O'Hara, aged 19, from Westbrook, Candise Whittaker, aged 18, from Orford, and Jane Grundy, aged 18, from Grappenhall, topped the polls after more than 1,000 votes were registered for the girls.
The group were invited down to our offices on Monday for their first photo shoot and the chance to tell readers why they should be number one.
And a few nerves were soon dispelled as the girls posed for these stunning shots.
Warrington Guardian group editor, Nicola Priest, photographer Dave Gillespie, senior news reporter and competition organiser Neil Docking, Miss Warrington Guardian 2006, Stacey Mullins, and sponsor Andrew Moran from Andrew Moran Hairdressing, will now be handed the difficult task of choosing our two winners - to be revealed in the Warrington Guardian on November 1.
Up for grabs will be a professional set of modelling shots, £100 to spend at Debenhams and a free makeover at Andrew Moran Hairdressing.
And, of course, the title of Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian 2007!
