THIS was the moment flames engulfed a car on an M62 sliproad near Burtonwood.
Reader Charlie Miller sent in this footage after spotting thick black smoke in the Burtonwood Road area.
The video shows the car well alight and later shows the car had been completely destroyed by the flames.
Other witnesses said the driver and passengers were further down the sliproad and well away from the burning car behind the motorway barrier.
Firefighters were called to the scene at 3.05pm.
A Cheshire Fire spokesman said: "Firefighters were called to Burtonwood Road, Warrington, after a report of a vehicle fire near to the M62 slip road.
"On arrival crews found a saloon car had been destroyed by fire.
"Crews, one wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire."
It is not thought anyone was hurt.
