TWO fire engines were needed to extinguish a trailer which was carrying a digger last night.
Crews from Lymm and Warrington attended Manchester Road in Woolston last night at around 8pm, where they found the trailer well alight.
The incident led to the road being closed both ways near the M6 interchange.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a hose reel brought the fire under control and made the area safe.
