MEET the Makers Food Festival is set to take centre stage at Bents Garden and Home in Glazebury.

Gourmet tastings and demonstrations will take place over the weekend of September 8 and 9, giving customers the chance to try before they buy.

Bents will be joined by suppliers such as Rivington Meats, Julyann the Baker, Shepherds Purse, Snowdonia Cheese and Lancashire Cheesecakes.

A raffle will also be held in aid of St Rocco’s Hospice, Bents 2018 charity of the year with the lucky winner taking home a luxury food hamper.

On September 13, the Fresh Approach Restaurant will host a British food and wine pairing event.

Hosted by Bents’ food development chef Tony Lewis and Reserve Wines, the evening will showcase some of the best produce Britain can offer, pairing wine with delicious cuisine.
