AN 85-YEAR-OLD pensioner who left her handbag on a supermarket trolley is searching for the kind-hearted member of the public who handed it in.
At around midday yesterday, Monday, Jean Kinsella had been shopping at Morrisons in Stockton Heath and hooked her handbag onto her trolley.
When she was unpacking her bags, she forgot about her handbag and put the trolley back in the trolley bay.
It was only when Jean got home in Appleton that she realised she had left her handbag behind and started to panic.
She said: "My handbag has everything in it - my phone, purse, all of my cards and bus pass.
"I just want to thank the person who handed it in at Morrisons, I'm so grateful to them."
If you know this kind-hearted person, please email isobel.cotogni@nqnw.co.uk so your details can be passed on to Jean.
