PALOMA Faith has cancelled her headline show at Haydock Park Racecourse tomorrow, Friday, August 10.
The singer has been ordered to rest by her doctor after being diagnosed with laryngitis.
Racing will still go ahead as planned with gates opening at 3.45pm, first race at 5.45pm, the last race at 8.30pm and a performance from You Win Again (a tribute to The Bee Gees).
Paloma said: “I am so sorry to announce that under doctors’ orders I am unable to perform my two shows this weekend.
"I hate to disappoint my fans and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
"I do hope to continue my tour once recovered and look forward to seeing you in the future. All my love, Paloma.”
An 80% refund for tickets will be applicable of the face value to all racegoers as outlined in the terms and conditions.
For hospitality customers, there will be a refund of 80% cent off the ticket element of the total price.
If purchased using a debit or credit card via The Jockey Club Live or Haydock Park Racecourse, an automatic refund will be issued to the original payment card within seven working days.
If purchased through Ticketmaster, they will issue you a refund automatically to the original payment card.
