A 57-YEAR-OLD man who was exposed for sexually communicating with a child during a 'paedophile sting' has been jailed.
Keith Strutt, of Derek Avenue, Orford appeared at Liverpool Crown Court last Monday, July 30 where he was sentenced to 10 months in prison and ordered to sign the sex offenders register for 10 years.
His actions came to light in June when he was confronted during an organised 'sting' by a group of self-styled paedophile hunters.
Members of the group, which calls itself Hunting 4 Justice, posed as a 13-year-old girl online before arranging to meet Strutt at his work address on Riverside Retail Park.
The interaction was then live streamed on Facebook, which last for around 45 minutes and has gained more than 123,000 views to date.
Officers were called to the incident and Strutt was subsequently arrested.
He later pleaded guilty to the charge of engaging in sexual communication with a child when he appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court.
