A CHARITY which helps children with terminal illnesses or disabilities go on holiday with their family said they were 'very proud' to win the prize fund on Big Star's Little Star.
The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) near Lymm were nominated to scoop £12,000 by TV presenter Jenny Powell.
The mum won the jackpot with her eight-year-old daughter Pollyanna during the show on Saturday night.
The TV series sees well-known stars team up with their children or grandchildren to win as much money as possible for charity by lifting the lid on celebrities’ lives – through the eyes of their children.
After winning, Jenny explained what the charity does and said the money would make a 'massive difference...to a wonderful charity'.
Staff at CAFT said it was a 'proud moment' for everyone after posting a video of the moment Jenny revealed her chosen charity on Facebook.
The post added: "We felt quite emotional listening to Jenny explaining why they support our charity.
"Thank you both so much."
