TWO people have been taken to Warrington Hospital after a car flipped onto its roof in the town centre this afternoon.

A man in his 50s and along with another casualty in his 30s were transported to the Lovely Lane hospital via an ambulance.

A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service has confirmed that their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Emergency services remain at the scene of the collision, which involved two cars, on Wilson Patten Street today, Tuesday, at 1.30pm near Warrington Bank Quay station. 

The road has since reopened.
