FOLLOWING a six-year break from stand-up, multi-award-winning comedian Rhod Gilbert is going back to his roots with a live tour.

Rhod's new show, The Book of John, will be coming to the Parr Hall on March 2, 2019.

As one of the UK’s leading stand-up comedy talents, he has enjoyed many years as a star of television and radio.

That includes eight series of Rhod Gilbert’s Work Experience as well as his current role as host of BBC2’s The Apprentice: You’re Fired.

Rhod has also been on screen for Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Have I Got News for You?, Qi, Would I Lie to You? and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

He has hosted Live at The Apollo on multiple occasions, has twice performed on The Royal Variety Performance and is set to appear in the forthcoming series of the Bafta award-winning Taskmaster.
