CREATIVE Remedies performing arts group will showcase their talents with a feast of music, performance and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

The service, commissioned by Warrington Borough Council, is a programme of arts activities that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of Warrington residents over the age of 18.

The annual showcase, which takes place tomorrow, will include an original play performed by their performing arts group, centred around travel and destinations.

There will also be performance by various music groups playing a range of pop and rock classics.

The special event paves the way to a packed summer of Creative Remedies activities, including the popular Blooming Art sessions, badminton, performing arts, music, digital photography, film production and more.

Cllr Pat Wright, executive board member for statutory health and adult social care, said: “Creative Remedies is a fantastic programme that uses music and the arts as a way of bringing people together to support each other through difficult times. I’m extremely proud of the hard work that Creative Remedies have put in to this event. I hope it spreads the word even further about the fantastic work and talented individuals that make this group so special.”

The event will take place tomorrow at 1pm at the Pyramid Centre on Palmyra Square, everyone is welcome.
