A SEWING school has launched a competition inspired by the BBC's Great British Sewing Bee.
Dolly’s Sewing School, on Academy Way, has given people the opportunity to create their own jacket, with each entrant being given a pattern and then being able to choose from the fabrics and notions on offer in the shop, for a £35 entrance fee.
The deadline for entries is September 30.
The jackets will be on display until November 30 when the winner, who will receive a £100 cash prize, will be announced.
Linsey Williams, who runs the school, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for those inspired by the show, and with only five spaces left people need to sign up soon.”
