Multi-vehicle accident causing delays at Lymm Interchange
MOTORISTS are being warned of delays on the M6 towards the Lymm Interchange due to a multi-vehicle accident.
One car was in the central reservation and two vehicles were against the roadworks barrier between J19 A556 Knutsford and J18 A54 Middlewich/Holmes Chapel.
The road was closed until 1.20pm while emergency services attended.
All lanes have now reopened but severe delays remain in place.
All lanes open and collision cleared on the #M6 between J19 and J18 #Cheshire. Severe delays remain however back to J20A but these should start clearing steadily. Have a safe journey pic.twitter.com/8imQXQTBhs
