RESIDENTS flocked to the Great Sankey summer fun day over the weekend and enjoyed all the free fun and games on offer.
It celebrated the community coming together and enjoying a day of music, entertainment, education and fun.
It took place on the Tim Parry Recreation Ground on Saturday.
Children got the chance to play on bouncy inflatables, donkey rides, a climbing wall, archery, zorbs, laser tag and birds of prey.
Although a cloud burst forced organisers to call off the fun day earlier than anticipated, it was an overall success with lots of happy children and fantastic superhero costumes.
