A YOUNG mum has achieved her lifelong dream of opening her own beauty salon.

Lauren Pringle, 24, from Birchwood, has opened Redefined Nails and Beauty on Huntley Street in Great Sankey.

The salon officially opened on Saturday, June 16, after Lauren spent several weeks renovating the former Kingpin Tattoo parlour.

More than 200 loyal clients turned up to the salon's opening day with Lauren's talent in high demand.

Lauren, mum to six-year-old Lilly, said: "I thought it would be a great inspiration for young girls to see that hard work and dedication pays off even when you don’t come from a wealthy background.

"I’m born and bred Warrington and I hope I'm being a great role model for my daughter by working hard to get where I want to be – I just want to make her proud.

"My friends, family and clients have been amazing in my journey and I wouldn’t be where I am without them!"

Lauren had worked as a mobile beautician but her dream was to open a place of her own.

She added: "I had Lilly at 18 and she has done this all with me.

"I just got on with it – as long as you are motivated and work hard you can do anything."

Redefined Nails and Beauty will be offering a wide range of beauty treatments from nails and waxing to massages and microdermabrasion.
