CALLING all foodie fans.
The Warrington Guardian Food and Drink Awards are back and this year we’re mixing things up like never before.
Over the next two months, you’ll be able to have your say on a variety of new categories including best butcher, readers’ favourite café or tea shop, pub or bar of the year and our family dining award.
We will launch each category with a shortlist put together by Warrington Guardian judges based on TripAdvisor and Facebook reviews.
But if your favourite isn’t on our list, it doesn’t mean they’re not in with a chance of winning.
All you need to do is send in the name of your winner using the form below, comment underneath the post on our Facebook page or tweet your winner to @Warringtonnews
Only one vote will be counted from each email address.
The winner will be the eatery with the most votes and will be announced in a special supplement in the Warrington Guardian newspaper this summer.
Keep your eyes peeled on the Warrington Guardian website and social media pages as there will be two categories every week for you to have your say on.
First up is Warrington’s 'Top independent trader of the year award'.
We are looking for the town’s best independent trader – they could be running a market stall or farm shop or be a street food vendor or local food producer.
Take a look at our suggestions below and then tell us the name of your winner:
Deadline for votes is midnight on Friday, June 15.
