A MAN has fallen victim to fraud after £14,000 was stolen from his bank account.
Police have released CCTV images of three men they want to speak in connection with a theft on March 7 at the Pentahotel, on Ashton Avenue in Birchwood.
The 38-year-old victim, who was staying at the hotel, had bank cards and his driving license stolen from his room and the next day had more than £14,000 taken from his account.
The bank cards were used to withdraw money throughout the day on March 8 at banks in Basingstoke and Eastleigh.
PC Lauren Pedley said: “We are trying to trace the men as we need to speak to them as soon as possible as part of our ongoing investigation.
“I’m also urging anyone who may have seen something unusual in the hotel on that date to come forward and speak to us.
“If you have any information that could assist with our enquires then please call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 4968.”
