POLICE have appealed for help from the public after a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on a bus.
The teenager was travelling on the number 27 bus from Warrington Bus Interchange to Gorse Covert at around 6pm on Sunday, May 6, when she was attacked.
A man who sat behind her on the bus is alleged to have touched her inappropriately over her clothing.
She was then forced to move seats to get away from the attacker.
Cheshire Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.
Police constable Lee Ferris said: “If you recognise the man in the CCTV image or think that you may know who he is, please contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 58303 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
“I would also like to appeal to the man in the CCTV image directly to get in touch.”
