MUSIC fans across the north west are set to flock to Parr Hall this October as new wave sensations announce a brand-new tour.

Liverpudlian rock band Echo & the Bunnymen have announced they will be performing at Warrington’s Parr Hall on Sunday, October 14 as part of their Autumn tour.

The tour coincides with the release of their new album The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon, which will be released on Friday, October 5.

This new album sees the band look back at their illustrious 40-year career as they hand-pick 13 of their most popular songs and reimagine them ‘with strings and things’.

Lead singer Ian McCulloch said: “I’m not doing this for anyone else. I’m doing it as it’s important to me to make the songs better. I have to do it.”

Featuring top hits, The Killing Moon, Lips Like Sugar, and Bring on the Dancing Horses, and well as future classics The Somnambulist and How Far? this new album delivers all the magic of Echo & the Bunnymen’s iconic style reimagined in an exciting new way.

It is set to be an unbelievable night of live music as Echo & the Bunnymen perform their only north west gig of the tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, June 1 and start at £19.50.
