CONSULTATION events are being held at Culcheth Sports Centre and Rixton-with-Glazebrook Community Hall where further details of the evolving design of HS2 will be disclosed.
Visitors can learn more about proposals for the location of construction sites, infrastructure associated with the railway and the realignment of major roads and public rights of way for phase 2b.
The new information is work-in-progress and may change as planners continue to refine the design, complete environmental assessments and take into consideration further feedback.
Residents are encouraged to discuss the emerging plans with members of the team at one of the events.
A consultation event will be held on Friday, June 29 at Rixton-with-Glazebrook Community Hall on Manchester Road, from 2pm until 8pm.
On Monday, July 2 the same event will be at Culcheth Sports Centre on Charnock Road, from 2pm until 8pm.
