Knife seized by Cheshire Police
A MAN has been charged after a knife was seized in the town centre yesterday, Tuesday.
Police were called to the area after a man was spotted on CCTV at 10.30pm hiding a drawstring bag underneath a car on Bridge Street.
Officers have carried out a search and found that the bag that contained a large knife.
A man was arrested on Rylands Street on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.
He has since been charged with the offence and will appear at Warrington Magistrates' Court on June 7.
