FLORAL tributes have been left at the scene of a fatal crash near Lymm.
Mourners have left flowers in memory of a former Premier League footballer who was ‘well-loved by all who were fortunate to know him’.
Jlloyd Samuel was killed in a car crash near Lymm last Tuesday, May 15, after ‘dropping his children off at school’.
The 37-year-old ex-Aston Villa and Bolton player died after his Range Rover was involved in a collision with a van on West Lane near Costcutter at 7.50am.
In a statement, the father-of-four’s family said: “Jlloyd was a loving son, father, husband and brother.
“He was also a respected ex-footballer and businessman who played for a number of clubs.”
“He was extremely popular and well-loved by all who were fortunate to know him.
“Jlloyd leaves behind a family including a wife and four children who are devastated by their sudden loss.
“The family at this time respectfully request to be left alone so they can have time to grieve and mourn his passing.”
