PUPILS across Warrington will dedicate a song in remembrance of the victims of the Warrington bombing and the Manchester Arena attack.
Children from Cherry Tree Primary in Lymm, Our Lady’s Catholic Primary in Latchford, St Bridget’s Catholic Primary in Fearnhead, Woolston Primary in Woolston and Oakwood Avenue Primary in Padgate are set to take part in a concert at St Oswald’s Church in Padgate, which is hosted by Medley Music for School on Thursday.
Music teacher Fran Sixsmith said “I was at the Ariana Grande concert that night and feel very blessed to be here today, lives were lost and many were affected physically and emotionally. I worked with the children from Oakwood Avenue to express what they had learned during about the Warrington bombing.”
The show starts at 6pm.
Tickets are available on the door at £4 for an adult and £1 for a child.
All proceeds will support Medley Music with resources and instruments. A donation will also be made to St Oswald’s Church, The Tim Parry Johnathon Ball Foundation for Peace and St. Rocco’s Hospice.
