A DRIVER used someone else's disabled blue badge to park on double yellow lines in Warrington town centre.
Janine Daw, of Lauren Bank, Widnes, was summoned to appear at Warrington Magistrates' Court on May 9 after she had failed to pay a penalty charge to Warrington Borough Council.
The 45-year-old pleaded guilty to one offence of disabled blue badge misuse by post.
She displayed the badge, belonging to someone else, and parked on double yellow lines in Warrington town centre without the registered blue badge holder.
The court fined Daw £40, on top of the £70 penalty, £150 in costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
