Cheshire fire brigade
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in a cardboard compactor in the town centre this morning, Monday.
Crews arrived at the scene at 9.55am in a commercial building on Cockhedge Way.
The team used hydraulic cutting equipment and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
One fire engine attended from Birchwood, one from Lymm and one from Penketh.
