TWO women from a Penketh care home raised more than £1,000 for cancer research with a charity walk from Liverpool to the home.
Jennifer Waters, a care assistant and team leader from Widnes, and Bernadette Levitte, a senior care assistant from Penketh, walked from the Three Elms Residential Home in Station Road.
The walk was inspired Jennifer's sister-in-law, who is currently suffering from cancer.
