A MAN was found dead in a flat near to the town centre yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to an address on Dunlop Street, off Chester Road, at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, May 9.
Officers discovered the body of a 38-year-old man at the scene.
His death is not believed to be suspicious.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At 2.30pm yesterday, police were called to an address on Dunlop Street after a report of a sudden death.
“Sadly, the body of a 38-year-old man was discovered at the scene.
“At this stage, there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
