DOG walkers have been told their cars have been videoed and not to park by the Omega development in Great Sankey.
One 28-year-old said he found a warning notice stuck on his car after parking by the site near the post office regional distribution centre while walking his dog.
A spokesman for landowners, English Partnerships, said: "As part of the ongoing estate management, we employ security firm Uniqwin to undertake regular patrols.
"This privately-owned site is subject to trespass, largely by unknowing parties such as dog walkers and motorcyclists but it is for their own safety that there is a policy in place to protect their welfare.
"Policy dictates any unauthorised visitors will receive a warning notice to quit'."
