AND now the end is here.
Toys R Us on Gemini Retail Park has today closed its doors.
After an 'Everything must go' sale over the past couple of months, pictures from shoppers show the shelves are now empty.
Many have taken to Twitter to express how sad they were to see the store go.
The Warrington store was among the final stores to close as the remaining 75 Toys R Us and Babies R Us close their doors today, Tuesday.
The Joint Administrators of Toys R Us Limited Simon Thomas and Arron Kendall, partners in Moorfields Advisory Limited, said all 2,054 employees will be paid up to and including their last day of employment.
