WE all know how it works with Tripadvisor. 

After you have eaten your meal, you head to the review website to describe your experience - good or bad - and leave your score. 

But one restaurant in Warrington has decided to turn the tables and rated the customer instead after they left a one star review. 

The reviewer added on Tripadvisor: "I had a meal at the Spirit restaurant, and had to send some food back.

"I was told that there was nothing wrong and that my complaint was unfounded. The food was still unacceptable.

"I ate part of the meal but left half. When presented with the bill, I enquired as to whether they would adjust the bill as I hadn’t finished my meal as it hadn’t been improved.

"The manager was then rude, refusing to reduce the bill, he was continually rude as we left.

"It is the worst experience I have had in a restaurant. I have eaten in many high end and low end places. Spirit was the worst I have encountered."

Spirit Restaurant in Victoria Park took to Instagram this morning to say the customer behind their most recent review was 'rude, obnoxious and pompous' and gave him '0/10 points'. 

The post adds: "Lovely review from Mark! Although he fails to state that his meal was replaced and we did check back on him to make sure everything was okay."
