FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a house fire in Orford this morning, Friday.
Crews were called to School Road at around 9am to reports there were people inside.
On arrival crews found the ground floor of a semi detached house on fire.
One fire engine from Warrington and one from Penketh isolated the gas and electricity and tackled the fire using a hose reel jet.
A high pressure fan was then used to clear smoke from the affected and neighbouring properties.
All residents have been accounted for.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is being carried out.
