BRITAIN’S tiniest teenager and Warrington’s extraordinary makeup guru has reached a YouTube milestone, just three months after featuring in a TV documentary.

Nineteen-year-old Georgia Rankin has 100,000 YouTube subscribers and will receive a Silver Creator Award from the social media giant.

Georgia, who suffers from the rare condition skeletal dysplasia, is 2ft 7ins tall and runs her YouTube channel MakeupJunkieG.

She started experimenting with makeup in 2014 and has since completed a formal qualification in the business.

Proud mum Andrea said: “We can’t wait for her award to arrive, I’ve got my cloth ready to clean it when we put it on the wall!”

The day after starring in Channel 5’s documentary 30 Inches Tall and Turning 18: Extraordinary People, Georgia’s YouTube following soared from 1,700 to 8,000 and in just a few months, she reached to 100,000 milestone.

Andrea said: “When Georgia hit 10,000 followers it was incredible so to have gained this many subscribers in such a short amount of time is absolutely amazing.

“I don’t think it has properly sunk in.”

Georgia is consistent in uploading two videos a week to her channel and has a loyal following.

She likes to be creative with her content and switches between fashion hauls and beauty tips.

The former Great Sankey High School pupil spends two days filming and two days editing each week and has even been approached by leading brands such as MissPap and Iconic London to promote sponsored content.

Georgia was also asked to attend the Big Beauty Day Out, a London beauty event as an influencer.

Andrea added: “It has always been a dream of Georgia’s to work in makeup, but we never thought she could be at this stage with her YouTube channel and make money from it.”

Her condition means Georgia is often in a great deal of pain, but her YouTube career is easy to fit in around her lifestyle.

After featuring in the documentary, Georgia received thousands of supportive messages from people all over the world.

Andrea said: “She even had boys who said they’re not interested in makeup but explained how she has inspired them not to moan about the little things and be grateful for what they have.

"It is so lovely to see the positive impact she is having on people.

“She might be small, but Georgia has a huge personality.”

So far, MakeupJunkieG has received 1.7 million channel views and Andrea is bursting with pride.

“We always worried what Georgia would do in the future and how she would last in working role with the pain she has.

“She is self-taught in filming and editing and she loves it,” Andrea said.

Georgia hopes her YouTube success will continue and her long-term dream is to bring out her own make-up line.
