PUPILS at Winwick Primary School celebrated World Down Syndrome Day by wearing odd socks.
The Year 6 class sported their colourful socks yesterday in support of fellow pupil Miles Skelton Bayley.
Odd socks were chosen as a symbol for World Down Syndrome Day because chromosomes share a similar shape and those with Down Syndrome have an extra chromosome.
