DELAYS have cleared and traffic is easing on the M6 following an earlier accident.
Lanes two and three were closed until around 9.50am due to an accident on M6 Northbound, just before junction 22 near the Croft Interchange.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Police were called at 9.13am this morning (Monday 19 March) to reports of a collision on the M6 northbound between junction 21A and junction 22 in Warrington involving a number of vehicles."
All lanes have now re-opened.
