GOLDEN Square Shopping Centre is asking shoppers to give a little extra this Easter by donating to their charity collection.
Between now and Friday shoppers can drop-off Easter eggs at the centre's customer service desk, in support of their charity of the year Harry & Co.
The eggs will be collected and distributed to families known to the charity, as well as to children currently staying – or with parents staying – at Warrington Hospital.
They will be given to children in Warrington and surrounding areas, who might not otherwise get an egg, or who are having a difficult time due to a family loss or illness.
Kate Tinker, founder of Harry & Co which helps families who have experienced infant loss, will be managing the distribution of the donations.
She said: "We are in touch with dozens of families and also have strong links with Warrington Hospital.
"Easter is a wonderful time of year, but if your family has experienced loss or has a sick baby or child it can be an incredibly stressful and sad time.
"The eggs we will be distributing on behalf of the generous shoppers at Golden Square will bring a smile to so many children’s faces and we can't wait to help the Easter Bunny out by delivering them on his behalf."
