THIS week in Yester Years we take a look at the old bus station.
Over the past few weeks in the Warrington Guardian, we have been reporting on the modernisation at Network Warrington.
So this week we are taking a look at the old bus station which shut in 2005 before the current one was opened.
The bus station was part of the old Golden Square Shopping Centre which was demolished in the early 2000s to make way for the current development.
It was accessed off Legh Street although much of the road layout was removed when the new shopping centre was built and the bus station was moved close to Central Station on Winwick Street.
