TV presenter Zoe Ball headed through Warrington on Tuesday morning as part of her Sport Relief challenge.
The mum-of-two’s Hardest Road Home journey sees her cycling from her place of birth, Blackpool, to her hometown of Brighton covering 300 miles in five days.
She is taking on the challenge to raise awareness of mental health issues following the death of her boyfriend Billy Yates.
The Strictly: It Takes Two host wants to help people cope with bereavement after cameraman Billy, who struggled with depression, committed suicide last May, aged 40, and was found dead at his home in London.
She came over Bridge Foot from Widnes before heading along Chester Road towards Frodsham.
She was joined by Widnes Vikings players for the final few miles of yesterday's journey and set off from the Halton Stadium this morning, Tuesday.
About to begin day 2 of #BT #HardestRoadHome and have just been told how much has been raised so far - thank you so much for donating and supporting me - you are the wind beneath my biking wings 🚲 pic.twitter.com/QWCINd5qwC
