FIREFIGHTERS tackled a tree fire yesterday afternoon, Saturday.
One crew was sent to an address off Shackleton Close in Old Hall around 2.40pm to extinguish the flames after the blaze appears to have been caused by a controlled burning that had spread from another tree.
A single hose reel and cutting equipment was used by firefighters, who advised the owners of the property to have it professionally felled.
