BEN Currie will be sent for scans after injuring the knee he had reconstructed in 2016.

The second rower limped out of tonight’s 16-10 win against Wigan Warriors in the 17th minute.

Wolves also lost the services of Kevin Brown to a head injury in the second half.

Wolves head coach Steve Price said: “Ben’s got a bit of a problem with his knee so he’ll be sent away for scans.

“I don’t think it’s a major concern but we’ll get scans and hopefully it’s all positive. It is the same knee.”

He added: “Kev Brown is pretty good in the sheds at the minute. We’ll just have to go through the process (for head injuries) through the week.”

Brown has a history of head injuries and Price added: “You’re always concerned about people’s health when it comes to those types of situations.

“I’ve got all the trust in our medical team to do what’s best for Kev.”

Joe Philbin missed tonight’s game after suffering concussion against Widnes last week.

Both Currie and Brown could now be doubts for Wolves’ trip to Hull FC next Friday.
