TWENTY-nine primary schools and Priestley College received awards for their PE performance at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The Warrington School Sport Partnership handed out the National School Games Mark in three levels, gold, silver and bronze.

Christ Church CE Primary in Padgate, Culcheth Primary, Oakwood Avenue Primary in Padgate, Oughtrington Primary, Ravenbank Primary, in Lymm St Elphin’s CE Primary, St Peter’s RC Primary in Woolston, Statham Primary in Lymm, Woolston CE Aided Primary and Westbrook Old Hall Primary all achieved the top gold standard.

Silver was awarded to Burtonwood Primary, Callands Primary, Gorse Covert Primary, Grappenhall Heys Primary, Grappenhall St Wilfrid’s CE Primary, Great Sankey Primary, Little Bollington CE Primary, near Lymm, Sacred Heart RC Primary, St Andrew’s CE in Orford, St Barnabas CE Primary, St Paul of the Cross RC Primary in Burtonwood, Stockton Heath Primary and Thelwall Junior School.

Only eleven colleges across the whole country applied for the award, eight, including Priestley College in Latchford achieved, silver.

Bronze marks meanwhile were given to Bradshaw Primary in Grappenhall, Chapelford Village Primary, High Legh Primary near Lymm, St Ann’s CE Primary in Orford, St Margaret’s CE Primary in Orford and Winwick CE Primary School.
