EARTH tremors have been felt across Warrington this afternoon.
Residents in parts of town reported feeling the tremors at around 2.30pm today, Saturday, causing buildings to shake.
Areas including the town centre, Latchford, Great Sankey, Stockton Heath, Birchwood, Grappenhall, Burtonwood, Howley, Cinnamon Brow, Wilderspool and Rixton were affected.

@warringtonnews Yes I felt it alright! I’m on 3rd floor in apartments. Latchford, on the Banks of the River Mersey. I thought the sofa was collapsing at first till I realised what it was. 😲
