A MONTHLY artisan food and craft market is coming to Warrington's Cultural Quarter.

The Makers Market, which already runs a series of events in the likes of Manchester's Northern Quarter and Hope Street in Liverpool, will be launching in Palmyra Square on Sunday, March 11.

After that the pop-up market, with more than 50 stalls, will return on the second Sunday of every month.

Victoria Crane, event manager of the Makers Market, said: "We pride ourselves at the Makers Market in delivering delightful specialist events with many award-winning producers of unique goods set to inspire.

"We cannot wait to launch in Warrington and hope you will join us for our launch on Sunday, March 11 and every second Sunday following."

The Makers Market champions independent businesses and producers in the nearby area and entry is free.

There will also be live music and street food, cookery demonstrations and kids' activities.

The market runs from 11am to 4pm

Anyone who would like to get involved with the market should email lisa@themakersmarket.co.uk
