PLANS for a new £12m office development in Daresbury have been given the green light.
Project Violet will see 42,000sq ft of new office space built at Sci-Tech Daresbury.
And Halton Borough Council has now given planning permission for the construction of three new three-storey buildings on Innovation Way as part of the development.
Work is planned to start later this year, and will take 12 months to complete.
Sci-Tech Daresbury board member Neal Biddle said: "This is excellent news - Project Violet will deliver much-needed grade A office space in the region and underlines our commitment to building on Sci-Tech Daresbury's reputation as a place where ambitious businesses can achieve success.
"We believe these physical developments will help address a shortfall of space in the region and support the expansion of the wide range of businesses based on technology and innovation already thriving at Sci-Tech Daresbury."
