Cheshire fire brigade
A MAN suffered a burn to his arm after a house fire in Grappenhall today, Thursday.
One engine from Warrington station and another from Penketh were called to the house on Kildonan Road at around 12pm.
The fire was on the first floor of the building and crews, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet and a large fan to extinguish the fire.
The fire is believed to have been caused by smoking materials.
