NEW aerial pictures show the cleared site of the former Warrington Market before work begins on the £100 million plus project to breathe new life into the area.
With the temporary market building and Time Square car park opened last year, the demolition work has now also been completed on the old market hall.
The first sod on the new buildings at the Bridge Street regeneration plan is due to be cut next week.
And a new permanent market, cinema, council offices and restaurants will be built on the land.
They are due to open by 2019/20.
The temporary market hall will then be turned into a bowling alley.
