PARENTS of high school age children are invited to take part in a course aimed at helping them with the day-to-day challenges they face.
The Parentalk course is being held over six Monday evening sessions at The Undercroft at the United Reformed Church in Wilmslow.
It is being run by Wilmslow Youth, and takes place between February 12 and March 19, from 7pm to 9pm.
“Parentalk is a fantastic course created by Care for the Family, and is all about helping mums and dads do the best job they can as they navigate these years with their teenager,” said course facilitator Lynne Leng.
“It’s a relaxed, informal course giving you the opportunity to talk about the day-to-day challenges you face, as well as sharing the things which are going well.
“The course is not just for parents who are experiencing struggles at home, but for anyone who would like to add to their parenting ‘toolbox’ and share and receive tips and advice from other parents.”
